On the Front Lines
Wow!! and double wow! I'm smack dab in the middle of my first week of English camp here in the Czech Republic. And what an amazing time its been so far. I'm so thankful God has allowed me this opportunity to come and be His hands and feet. He is also blessing me daily with little and big displays of His love.
The staff for this week of camp is such a perfect fit for the ministry that it can only be God. Pray that He will continue to use us and that we will be bold. There are many non-believers who are at camp for the first time. Yesterday on the bus trip to the zoo I sat next to a lady who told me up front that she thinks God and religion are right up there with drugs and alcohol, something people just use to get through life. And she wants nothing to do with religion or God, but she respects our beliefs. Because of the political history here any type of organiztion, religious or otherwise is viewed with great suspicion. The Christians here really have their work cut out for them.
Working with the 10-13yrs olds in the morning is going so well. The adults and teens are a bit more challenging. Pray for their teachers, especially during the post-session discussion times as they often ask difficult questions and sometimes outright challenge what is being said. It is great that they are showing interest but pray that God will soften their hearts. There are several testimonies being shared over the next few days. Pray especially for Svetlana, Adam and Mandy and Ondra as they speak at campfire and during the teen program. Pray for Honza, one of the teens and for Renata, Hannah, George, and Martin. People I have met who are searching.
God is good! I really feel like this is where I need to be. It's exciting to see how He is moving in places outside of North America. Boris, my TEAM co-worker is a great guy and a total blessing. I think I told a few of you about him. He is not at all Russian but a Canadian Korean. We will be doing 2 more weeks of camp together this summer. Please keep those prayers coming!

Greetings to you from Edmonton in the name of Jesus!! <>< You are on my heart and I thank God for you and the journey He is taking you on to continue in His Kingdom work.
Thank you so much for the detailed updates and pictures.
I hope you feel uplifted, energized, protected and loved by Almighty God through the prayers of those who intercede for you.
Father, I plead that Julianna will be filled with the Holy Spirit and will daily walk in His power (Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:16).
I pray that she will speak Your Word with boldness (Acts 4:31; Ephesians 6:19), and that You open doors and hearts to receive the gospel as she ministers in her place of service (Colossians 4:3). I pray that You will make Julianna's ministry exceedingly fruitful and that You will glorify Yourself through this ministry (2 Thessalonians 3:1).
I plead that all of Julianna's needs--physical, spiritual, and emotional are met by You through Your grace and power (Philippians 4:19).
Keep her safe and give her joy! In Christ's name I pray.
Love you Julianna, and look forward to reading more about your work and adventure. God bless you and the team.
